December 4, 2017

Saubona,
It's crazy that December is already here!! Time really is flying and here all the kids are out of school, which makes it a little easier for missionary work because usually a lot of people are around. The only bad thing is people drink here like kids eat candy so the streets are usually full of people stumbling with their "black label" beers! It's funny to see them try to walk though! It's all part of the experience I guess haha we just laugh.
This week we were pumped to go see Sihle except he lives in Umgababa (super far from the church kind of in the middle of the mountains). Right when we were headed to the lesson we realized our tire was going to be flat in no time. So we went and told him and he just came out and basically changed our tire for us. We felt so bad, because we didn't even ask him to help but we just pray he'll be blessed for what he did. So we didn't even have time to teach him because it was our last appointment for the day. We say goodbye to Bro. Ntokozo and Elder Legas. We also got to meet with our newest progressing investigator, Xolani! He's such a funny guy haha probably around 45 years old and just a really nice man. At first he seemed like he wasn't too interested but lately he's been really interested and keeping commitments! He said he's seeing some changes happening in his life and promised to come to church. He ended up not coming last second and when we went to him after church he just said he was really nervous, so we're thinking next week he'll come for sure! We've also had some pretty cool experiences with finding. I've realized that if we don't pray or aren't excited when we meet people then nobody wants to hear from us. But as we prayed to find MEN and came with some swag we were able to just meet so many people. Haha it really is crazy what difference prayer can make and relying on God. We always forget all the times he's pulled through in the past. But I promise that if we sincerely pray to Him he will help us! I'm so thankful for the Book of Mormon in my life and the daily guidance I get from reading from it. I hope this gospel brings us all happiness, and if it isn't maybe we need to change something in our life so that it can! I love you guys and I know that this church is true.
     Bless up
