Happy late Thanksgiving!
I forgot to tell you guys last week, probably because they don't celebrate it here obviously. Although, Elder Pantoe said they celebrate it in Liberia... I'm so embarrassed that the fam lost to the Johnson's in the annual Thompsons vs. Johnson's. I won't say you guys need me, but I will say we're undefeated when I'm on the field hahahha! But I'm glad to hear you guys had a good week!
This week was Jackie's baptism! We were so excited for her. When we went to see her on Tuesday she told us her mom sent her a message and she wanted to know some things from us. I was thinking Oh, no here's some anti mormon stuff, but when she showed us it was straight up like church doctrine with scriptural references and everything hahah! It was a great idea for us to talk to her more about saving ordinances and her covenant of baptism. Her mom was telling her not to join (she lives in New Jersey) but we just told her to pray about it and do what she felt was the right thing. We were then able to bear testimony to her that this was the right thing.
So we also had a tough day on Thursday, we were finding and literally got shut down 20 times, they wouldn't even accept a pamphlet haha. But then some magic happened, as I was calling the people from the old investigators in the area book and came across Sihle. He's a 33 year old man and when we called him he was so happy! He said we could come that day and then told us to come every Tuesday and Thursday hahah it was so awesome, but he works on Sunday so we hope to find some solution for him.
Another cool thing that happened was we visited the Mngwengwe family and they were super rude the first time we met them so we were kinda nervous they wouldn't accept us too much. But when we went really the spirit just opened the way for us and we all felt it so strong. I really think things are beginning to open up here in Molweni. It's been kind of a tough area, but I'm just really thankful that I've been able to see the Lord open things up for this area as we've prayed mightily for the people here. Also we say goodbye to our #1 homie Ntokozo this week as he leaves for mission!
Elder Pantoe and I will be here for 6 more weeks!! Less go!
     Bless up-

Elder Thompson
