Hey fam
This week went by pretty quick. We were kinda busy with driving missionaries around because of transfers. (Elder Leishman and I stayed together). I got to drive someone to Leribe which is about a 2 hour drive away. It was cool to see another side of Lesotho, it's so beautiful here. Other than that we had a really good week. We didn't get to have Lebo's baptism because this weekend was her brother's funeral. We went for a little bit to support her family. It's so sad how the churches are here and I'm so grateful to belong to the true church. They had a priest at the service and the very first thing he says without even mentioning God's plan or consoling the family is that he expects R10 or like $10 from every person there.
The picture this week was us working with Francis and us stuck up to the hub caps in mud. We were on our way to an appointment and yeah that's what happened. We tried to get out every way we could and all the kids in the village were pumped to see a couple white guys stuck in the mud they all "helped" us by trying to push. Everything we tried wouldn't work. I then thought "way to go missionaries stuck and didn't even think to pray" haha I said a prayer in my heart that we'd be able to figure something out and just then a huge truck started heading down the road. Even though he charged us money, it was still an answer to my prayers and a reminder to never forget to ask for help!
The good news was that we got to confirm Francis and Tankiso this week! They're so pumped about this gospel and have already began helping us, giving us referrals and they come teaching with us. It's so good to have such pure and fresh testimonies that our investigators can relate to. "The Squad" actually weren’t even friends before we started teaching them we found out. They just started becoming best friends when we began to teach them and now they're like brothers. It's so true that the gospel brings us together and they were even saying how we're closer than their family is and how they want to share with their families. So I'm sure we'll have many good things to come in the future! The gospel is true. The Book of Mormon is our guide through this life! I love you!

This week my comp almost got eaten by a dog. Hahha he also had his 19th birthday! It also poured rain like I've never seen before, I even had to help this old endati who got his truck stuck in the mud out. We also saw that random old guy carrying his cat in a plastic bag and that tiny truck pilled up 30 ft tall of garbage. Those are my random things to say this week.
I had so many spiritual experiences this week which I'm so grateful for! The first was we met with Lebo and it was so cool to see her reaction as we went through the plan of salvation and she found so much relief as she learned about the spirit world. The highlight was seeing Francis and Tankiso. They're way too powerful. Such amazing men. We had the privileged of talking to them about the Priesthood. They were telling us about how truly happy this gospel makes them and how they can't wait to share it with their best friends when they get back from South Africa. I couldn't help but get a little teary eyed as the spirit was SO strong when we had them read the sacrament prayers. I just pictured these guys as the future of the branch, we were in desperate need of priesthood. This past week Lebo was interviewed and passed, so she'll be baptized this Sunday! We had district conference and President basically said he knows it's a great time to be in Lesotho right now and how he sees miracles coming. What a time to be a missionary! I love you guys thanks so much for your prayers and support.

Dumelang!!
What's up guys?? Sad to hear about Duke, craziest dog I ever knew!! Good luck to Trev with the interviews for school this week! This week was the great Tankiso and Francis' baptisms!! It went so well, but we went and cleaned the font for a long time then the water that came out was pee yellow so we were all a little scared to go into the diseased water but we got it done! After they were baptized they got to share their testimonies and it's so amazing how strong their testimonies are in such a short time! It's such a testimony builder to see how much the gospel really does bless everyone in every way. Sad news was that Lebo's brother committed suicide this week, but she's taking it really well.
Mom you asked me how we met them and that actually really helped me to realize a miracle so thanks!! So we met Tankiso and Francis because we were teaching Mpho at his house then his grandpa got super upset at him and us and shouted at us to leave and that "his house isn't a church" and a lot more in Sesotho. Anyway we had to find a new place to meet which was Tankiso "brotha's" house. Then we met Francis and began teaching all of them. It's funny how Heavenly Father works and really does have a plan for us!  We met a ton of new people this week and they were all basically like "why didn't I know about this earlier??" Like wishing they would've received the gospel earlier which made me so grateful that I was born with these blessings and gained this knowledge at such a young age. It scares me to think where I would be without this gospel and without my awesome youth leaders and best buds. I also learned that another word for gospel is "good news" the good news is that because of Jesus Christ we can escape death and hell. I know that that good news is true. I'm so thankful for my Savior! Have a great week. I love you!

Dumelang
Hey everyone, so this week was pretty wild but I just want to start out by sending my prayers to Elder Legas and his fam this week. He was one of my closest friends out here and he's such a good guy! He'll be coming home this week because of illness so please keep him in your prayers.
With all of that crazy stuff some changes happened and I'm now with Elder Leishman. He's a pretty cool guy I think I've sent some pics with him in them. He's the "beefier" one in the sunglasses pictures. hahah he's also being trained so I'll have trained someone now for the past 6 months. But it's awesome to be around people with such high energy and enthusiasm for the work! I'm sad to be losing Elder Ntaka though he really was such an awesome companion.
This week we prepared Francis and Tankiso for their baptisms. They're super excited and I think Francis might have a chance to serve a mission in the future. That would be a dream come true. They both have such strong testimonies and they asked us for church hymns to listen to so they could learn them! Mpho won't be baptized with them this Sunday which is super sad, but he's taking it well. He is having some troubles getting over his smoking and it's even more frustrating because he keeps blaming it on the fact that he can't eat healthy food. I've learned that we're not here to convince people, but to invite them to find out for themselves God's will and that's the best part!
Another one of our investigators is Lebo. She bore a super strong testimony at church! I had the chance to read Helaman chapter 5 which is one of my fav chapters. I'm so thankful for the Holy Ghost in my life and the comfort that comes as I listen for and to that still small voice. Check that chapter out!!! Other than that I'm loving life, I pray for you all every day and I love you guys!

Dumelang!
Don't know if I spelt it right, but that's how they greet around here. This week was a goodie. What really just makes me so excited is for "the squad" that's what my comp and I call Mpho, Francis, and Tankiso. Mpho is 23, had a smoking prob. Francis is 21 and the funniest guy around, and Tankiso is 31 and he's just a quiet but amazing guy. I'll send you a selfie of us. We teach them all together since they live close to each other and they've all progressed so easily. They will be interviewed this week, then baptized the 11th. and I'm sooo pumped for them. It's been such a challenge to teach men on my mission and I feel like these guys are the answers to my mission long prayers. They're so excited for the gospel and just soak it in everytime.
This week we learned about spiritual gifts at Zone Conference. It was so awesome for me to hear because I felt like I didn't have any. (maybe some of you do too) but I found out everyone does! Moroni 10:8 really clarified that for me. It's so easy for us to recognize them in other people but I know that all of God's children have them and no one has them all! Don't deny yours, HF loves you. I'm thankful for my parents who always let me know what they saw in me even if I didn't believe them.
A miracle that happened this week. Mpho and Francis just showed up at church and we were thinking, oh no where's Tankiso?!! This guy... then about 10 min later he's showing up legit running, he was like guys I'm so sorry my boss came to my house and made me work today but I told him I had to go to church and ran here. hahah I was so impressed by him. It's people like him that Heavenly Father can trust. I hope to always be someone HF can trust as well. I know he loves each one of us and I felt that as we talked about spiritual gifts we've been blessed with this week. I love you guys! Kill it this week!
Also I met a RM from Tommy Webb and Christian Cottle's mission in Manchester !
