What's good fam?
Life's good in Molweni. I love this time of the year and the Christmas spirit, even though they don't really go all out in decorating or really celebrate too much. I still just feel a special spirit. We were able to meet a couple new people lately! Some that’s what  we're most excited for! - Christopher, Leroy, and Tristen. They're all around my same age and it's so weird to me that those guys would be interested in sitting down, turning off the tv and talking about the gospel. They're all from Zimbabwe and happen to all go to the same church Jackie went to. Hahah we feel like we should just teach the pastor because we teach like half of the church already haha. The only bad news is they meet upstairs from us in the same school building!!
This week was also Stake Conference. We got to hear from the stake leaders and I actually learned a lot during the priesthood session. They talked about delegation of power and I think that's something I need to work on, sometimes I feel like we get carried away or just think because the members aren't helping now that they never will. But God wants us to share the load! I'll work on that one for sure! We also got to hear from President Thompson, and that guy is GA bound I swear. He has my vote, haha he's such a powerful speaker and I'm thankful to have him as my mission President. Good news was we got Xolani to come to stake conference! I'm sure he was a bit taken back by seeing all the people there, but at least he was able to make some new friends and take the first step in just coming! He's a great guy and I hope and pray he'll continue to progress, please keep him in your prayers!!
In one of my emails I got last week one of my best buds told me they listen to talks before they go to sleep each night! I thought, hey that's a good idea so I downloaded some talks and have been listening and it really has been a good time for me to learn! I was reminded from Elder Holland about the 1st and great commandment, and I loved something he said. "The crowning characteristic of Love is always Loyalty" I would ask each of you if the things you do really show God that you love him? Would he know without even having to ask that you really do love him? I love God with all my heart and I know that he always loves us back! I've felt His love especially during this Christmas season. I challenge you to look for things God has done to show his love for you! I know this church is true and it's such a blessing to serve our loving Heavenly Father! Have a great week, I love you!
     Bless up
