Howzit
This week was a
gucci one. Just want to start out by saying I love you all so much. We had a
service last night for Elder Parrisatt in our mission, he just lost his
brother. I can't believe how hard that would be. As we were meeting I just
thought about my family and friends and all the good times we've had with each
other. I am soo grateful for everyone in my family and I am the person I am
today because of them. I had such good examples growing up and it was such a
blessing for me to see each one of them change and grow before my eyes. I
couldn't have asked for a better family to be a part of! I also want to let all
of them and all of my friends know how much they mean to me, I am so thankful
for everyone who has played a part in my life big or small I love you. I know
that there's always someone looking up to us and it makes me feel bad for the
times I haven't been my best, but encourages me to be better! (Romans 5:19) we
as members of the church have such a good opportunity to influence those around
us for good, let’s do it!
So this week we
also got invited to the Senior Couples' (The Petersens) place for lunch. They
attend in our branch and as we were talking a bit I guess they know the Taysoms
very well. One of their daughters is married to Kelly's brother! Haha small
world! At church this week Baba Gumede came! After a long 5 years of having
missed church, he was able to return, how amazing! One of our investigators,
Summarizer (Sandile), has been coming to church every week and seminary like
every day and is very awesome! He speaks mainly Zulu, but he bore his testimony
this week and it was so amazing to see him do that!
I also got news
that I will be training as well as district leader! I'm excited to train haha I
hope I get a nice son! I don't find out who it is until tomorrow or Wednesday
but I'm stoked!
Hope you have a
lovely week
Bless up-
Elder Thompson
