Howzit-
Thanks for all the birthday wishes and support. I'm so blessed to have such awesome family and friends! It's so crazy I'm 20 years old, I still remember looking up to those above me and thinking they were so old and now here I am. hahah!
It's so crazy how fast this transfer is flying by (it's already the last week of the transfer!!)
Everything is swell here in Molweni! We have been really busy which is a good thing, but we're having some troubles getting through to the people here. No one will come to church!! It's kind of frustrating, but I think it's kind of a universal problem. We have a couple promising investigators though.
One of our most promising investigators is Mclean. He's a 35 ish year old guy who came here from Malowi to look for work so he can send money home to his parents. He's been to church for about the last month. Recently his sister Rheya also came to join him and they have been living in very humble circumstances. Rheya doesn't speak much English, but Mclean is very good. It's so sad to see how hard they have to struggle just to feed themselves and yet they're still trying to send money home to their parents. This past week we went to Mclean to teach him and we could tell he was a little down. We asked him what was going on and he said he had a feeling to come to church last Sunday and then his boss called him later that day and told him he should've been at work and since he's not going to take his job seriously he is fired. I could tell how sad that made him. He literally can barely afford to buy any food and now his only job is gone. I could see how he could've been angry at God, but instead he just said I don't feel good about working on Sundays. I'm so grateful for his faith. He is courageous and he is prepared. He should be baptized September 17th.
For my birthday the senior couple who attends in our branch, the Petersens (I think they're from Saint George?) made me a cake and it was really good then Elders Legas and Lowe had a surprise birthday party thing for me which was really nice of them! It was a good day!
My quote for the week is: "Satan trembles when we sees the weakest saint upon his knees"
Make him tremble!!
     Bless up-
