Dear Family
Hope all is well
at home.
This week has been quite the week..
First of all I had a kidney stone type of thing (I peed a
stone) which hurt like heck, ask Jared for more details.. So I'm going to get that bad boy checked out
today, I'm sure everything will be fine. Other than that, we had Zone
Conference, which was amazing. Our mission president and AP's are really
inspired. One thing they talked about is how we can teach as the Savior did. I
really have come to love the people who I am serving. I love how friendly and
smiley they are. They're such a loving people and they truly do love our
Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. It really inspires me to be around
such a religious people.
One of our
investigators is the Nomusa family. There is a dad and mom and 3 kids, the mom
was introduced by a member from our branch, and she had been praying for God to
show her the way. That's when a girl from our branch told her about the BOM. I
love being in a branch that's so excited and engaged in missionary work,
they're always willing to help us out at all times, which is a blessing! But,
since then we've been able to teach her and her family a few times and I look
forward to getting to know this family more as well as finding more people to
teach!
I know that the
BOM is so powerful and I love listening to others testify of it's truthfulness
as well as getting the chance to do that myself each day! We are very lucky to
be able to read and receive revelation as we pray and read with our hearts. I
know this church is true and I love getting to share this message with others
like our Savior did. I know this gospel blesses lives and I know that the
Atonement of Jesus Christ is real. I love you and hope you have a good week!
Love,
Elder Thompson
