Linjanhi,
Howzit guys?? This week has been good, there's always so much that happens in a week so it's hard to tell you everything!
We had transfers this week AND I'LL BE.......Staying in KwaMashu with my same comp! I love this area so I was happy about that. My comp and I are killin it and should have several baptisms (starting on the 27th) So after that they'll be in a line at the baptism font! Hahaha we'll see, but this week we had 7 investigators come to church and we have about 8 or 9 who are progressing.
There names are. Nozipho, Loraine, Minenhle, Ntomby, forgot the other two, and the Machi's daughter.
Another one of our power investigators is Zinhle...If you haven't noticed most of them are girls. It's very hard to find men to teach because they're either drunk or at work. I've never heard of anyone getting drunk at 7 AM on a weekday, but here it's normal haha.
A cool experience we had this week was when we were teaching Ntomby and her two sisters about the WOW. It's so hard for these people who've grown up drinking and things to give it up, but once they truly know that this is true they're always willing! She was reluctant to give us ALL of her tea-bags but eventually did haha and Chase taught me a cool trick with them where you take all the stuff out and light it and it floats before it reaches your hand. But I think it didn't work with the ones they gave us because I burned my hand a little when I tried it!
Another cool experience was with this less active guy we've been teaching named Siyabonga, He has such a cool testimony. He said he had 3 kids and fell away from the church because he wasn't married when he had these 3, but the cool thing was he said he's always known the church is true.. Like even when he wasn't going, his friends would try to get him to come to their church and he couldn't because he knew which church he belonged to. I know that's also true for myself and everyone who's been truly converted. We can never deny what we know. This is the only true church on the earth, I feel very lucky I get to share that with people each week. I pray for you guys every week hope all is well!
Love,

Elder Thompson
