Howdy Guys,
This week was
awesome! CRAZY storms on Tuesday! I've never seen rain like that before in my
life.. But we survived it! We also had a really cool day on Friday! We were
just driving to the chapel and I felt like we should go to a particular area.
Elder Mustapha and I went there and just had people waving at us and smiling,
it was amazing haha! We barely got out of the Bakkie when this lady, Colleen,
came up to us and greeted us. We got to talking with her and found out that she
had met with other missionaries 3 years ago but when she moved they lost touch.
She asked when church was and said, okay yeah I'll close my shop for an hour.
She's like the missionaries use to come visit me on Thursday's and Saturday's
so should I close my shop for an hour on both of those days as well? We're like
uhhhh.... yeah?? hahah it was so crazy! We also just met several other happy
people during that time!
It was great to
baptize Summariza (sandile) and Olwethu yesterday! It went so smooth and it was
so incredible to see the branch's support. Most of the members piled into cars
and drove about 15 min to the Hillcrest Chapel (where the baptisms are) and it
was so cool to see most of them there even though it wasn't adults or anything
being baptized. I'm really grateful for that.
Other than that
for the next transfer at least I'll be staying in Molweni (which was an answer
to my prayers) I still feel like there's more for me to do here! I'll be
receiving another new "son" (training) and everything else is still
the same. I'm excited to train and I know that Molweni is going to see much
success in the next transfer! I hope you guys have a good week, Oh and shoutout
to Chaz for turning 23!! Old man! I saw a license plate with kia ora on it this
week!
