Eta Eta!
Howzittttt?? It's
good to hear from you guys, haha sorry you're still burnin up in the blessed
land. It's been great weather here not to rub it in haha! This week has been
very busy! We got to go on exchanges with the AP's (I got to go with Elder
DePriest), Had Zone Conf. and District Conference!
It was good to be
back with Elder DePriest, it was cool to see how much both of us have grown in
the last 4 months! He's a great guy and I'm really lucky to have served with
him. I also saw Elder Rowe for the last time as he's going home next week!!
Crazy, also Elder Rassmussen is going home too.. I still remember emailing him
being so excited to come here and hearing all about his fun experiences. I'll
miss these guys a whole lot.
We had a really
good zone conference!! I learned a lot more about the importance of prayer and
being worthy of peoples trust. That's something I'll never forget about Lonny
Heaton, he always taught us to have "character" and to be a good
person at all times and in all places. I also learned about the worth of a soul
and we were all invited to repent and think of how much we're willing to give
up in order to work with the spirit and to save others and invite them to come
unto Christ! As for my lesson, I was SUPER nervous and was praying with all my
heart and soul hahaha. But I think I did really well. It was one of the best times I think I've had
with public speaking on my mission! Thanks for your prayers. I talked about
Companionship unity. Something none of us can live without, if it's friends or
husbands/wives or actual mission companions. In D&C 38:7 I think it says
"if we are not united we are not His" Oh how I know that's true the
times companionships struggle with unity or have contention the spirit leaves.
Anyway that was really a tender mercy!
3 People are
going to be baptized this Sunday, Taylor Thompson, Malachi De Beer, and Siya
Magubane. I am really excited for them and for the people and baptisms that
will come from them! Transfers are next week, but I'm having a feeling I will
be staying in Dundee again 7.5 months here we go... but I guess you never know!
Thanks for all your prayers... Oh wait I forgot I got a haircut this week and I
look pretty white trash to be honest. First I went to my normal dude from Pakistan
and he shaved my whole head except 1 little patch where I spike it, so I went
to the black barber and he got me real good. Hopefully I can send a pic. We'll
see! HAHAH Anyway have a great week!
