Whats good fam?
This week was
kinda exciting because the zone leaders were able to come to our area and go on
splits with us! They are really good guys and I got to go with Elder Ottley
from Idaho. He's a cowboy and it was good to be able to learn a bit from him
and show him the miracles we've been having in our area. I also was able to go
on exchanges with the Elders in our district, Elder Macapella who's being
trained. He's from Cape Town, and is a really good guy. It's amazing how fast
he's progressed, I feel like it took me a lot longer to get comfortable, but we
aren't all the same I guess haha!
Some things to
follow up on, Zinhle smashed it on her talk, she was kinda reading it at first,
but then she really just looked up and started talking. It's crazy how humble
we become when we truly repent. She spoke about the plan of happiness and how
she's made mistakes in her life and ended up as a single mother, but how God is
still mindful of her and her situation. It really touched me. Anyway after
church we got to take the sacrament to one of my fav gogo's gogo, Mngadi. She
was in tears of gratitude as we took it to her because she has a bad leg and
can't come to church. I think I really
took these Priesthood responsibilities for granted at home, but I am grateful
to be able to bless the Sacrament and bring the healing that comes from
partaking it to others.
We have a big
week this week too! District conference (New Castle, Madadeni 1, 2 and 3 , and
Dundee) and Zone Conference. I'm excited for those things, except I have to
speak at zone conf, which I'm not too
excited about to be honest. I will be speaking on Communications between
companions! Also 5 of our investigators will be interviewed for baptism on Thursday,
and baptized on the 23rd! It's so cool to finally have progressing investigators
and I'm just really thankful that the Lord is blessing this area right now.
