Hey everyone!!
Sorry I'm coming
at you a day late, everywhere was closed here for Easter Monday!
I'm really
enjoying being with Elder Rowe and I already LOVE Dundee.
This week was awesome, but challenging. During our last
District meeting we learned about loving our investigators and taking the
necessary time to pray for each one of them individually, so Elder Rowe and I
prayed together for each one of our investigators and had some really cool
spiritual promptings. It was so cool to see what the spirit told us each person
needed at that time to grow spiritually, and it made me question if I do that
for my own personal prayers. After we prayed for each person we waited until
both of us got an answer sometimes just sitting there for like 10 minutes in
silence! Haha Are we willing to put in
that effort in our personal prayers? Or do we wait for 30 seconds and call it
good thinking maybe we'll get our answer some other time?
So we've been
having some problems with our investigators and we feel like right now we're
doing a lot of planting and not really harvesting.. it's been a little
discouraging at times, but I know our efforts aren't wasted!!
This week, Sunday we had a baptism! I got to baptize a little girl named Akona she belonged to a member family, but her father was less active, so we got to teach and baptize her (pics will be coming once we find decent computers) and I also got to ordain someone a priest! That was a bit out of my comfort zone, but such an honor. I love the branch here in Dundee, the members are truly amazing.

The church is true my brothers and sisters!
