Yo Yo!
Happy New Years! Crazy to think of all of the changes in my life over the past year. Wow! I'm really excited for this next year.
So my new companion is Elder Isoba from Uganda. He comes from a very rare situation in that all of his family are members and have served missions! He's such an awesome guy and I already feel like we're really good friends... about him hmmm he loves soccer (obviously) haha and he served as a ward mission leader for 4 years before coming on his mission!!! So he's a really good missionary and I love learning from him. I'm still in Kwa Mashu and love this area so much, I would spend my whole mission here if they'd let me haha.
This week was pretty crazy with my comp leaving and having to be involved with the whole transfer situation,

moving Elders and things. Often they have to take busses and things so I was driving a lot this week. I got SUPER bad food poisoning on Wednesday and not to get to much into detail.. I don't think I left the toilet for more than 10 minutes haah. But luckily I'm better!(: For New Years we got together and watched a church movie and had a braii (bbq kind of thing) which was really fun we also bought some Indian fireworks which are WOW.. a lot better than the ones allowed in the US. haha so we had a lot of fun with those!
This week we also got to teach Loraine's son, Thuba and his friend, Lungelo. They're really excited about the gospel and it's super cool because they're 15 and MALE! We are also teaching Minenhle's brother and he seems really interested, I'm so happy to see the referrals that come from those who we've taught, it's a lot easier because they have a friend to go to church with. I hope you all can be friends to those around you (:
Love ya and have a great week/year!
Love,

Elder Thompson
