Wow! What a week for me, so much to talk about...
So many fun
things to talk about, Okay so yesterday myself and 5 other elders broke a world
record. We went off the tallest swing in the world!! (I'll send pictures when I
get them) It's the craziest thing I've done that's for sure! We hiked up some like 500 steps to the top of
the Moses Mabhida Stadium and climbed onto this tiny ledge and jumped off, I
guess its 88 meters tall!! Wow that was
something I'll never forget haha! Secondly, we had a Durban Stake soccer
tournament with all the branches and wards in Amanzimtoti. It was the 18 and
older men only. Things got heated and I took an elbow to the eye haha, but that
was such a cool thing they even have full uniforms for every ward and branch!
Okay now to the
good stuff, Guys I want you to know that I KNOW Heavenly Father answers our
prayers. I have been praying very hard
these past few weeks to be led to those who are ready for this gospel and I
have had amazing experiences. People walking up to us asking how they can join
our church and how they can become missionaries! People who we met who have been going to
other wards for 5 weeks and know this church is true and just want us to
baptize them. We even tracted into a family that had been previously taught by
missionaries and want to start learning again. The branch’s average attendance
is usually 72 but now it's in the 100's. We're being blessed for sure! One
question that really hit me, and I want everyone to think about is... Are you
really praying, or are you just saying prayers? I want to leave my testimony
that God hears our prayers as we ask with true faith and with our hearts, I
know this church is true.
